Waiting Families
We’re Brendan and Michael, a married couple living in Calgary. We are homebodies at heart and find the most joy in everyday moments, ordering in, curling up on the couch after work, or chatting in the kitchen while Brendan cooks and Michael taste-tests. A shared love of animals has always been central to our lives and helps shape the warmth of our home.
We first met as children when our families were neighbours and bonded over animals and a shared sense of humour. After nearly ten years apart, we reconnected in 2017 and quickly realized how naturally we fit together. Our relationship is grounded in steadiness, laughter, and the support of a close-knit community of family and friends.
We are excited to welcome a child and offer a loving, stable home rooted in kindness, connection, and belonging. We hope to provide a nurturing environment where a child feels safe, supported, and deeply loved, both in life’s big moments and its quiet, everyday ones.
