Hello! We’re Meghan & Rachel. After several near-misses, we finally met in 2009 (a funny story we love to share) and have been building our life together ever since. We’re a steady, loving couple who believe in working hard, finding joy in everyday moments, and laughing often — usually with a healthy dose of sarcasm. Together, we’ve built a home rooted in stability, teamwork, and mutual support.
Meghan works in the trades and values showing that success can take many forms. Rachel is an IT analyst who appreciates the balance her career provides, offering both structure and flexibility. Outside of work, we love spending time with friends, family, and our two cats. Our days are often filled with cheering on our favourite ringette player, cooking family recipes, movie nights, board game/puzzle nights, and the occasional Mario Kart rivalry. We value connection, tradition, and creating a home where people feel welcome and loved.
Becoming parents has been a dream we’ve shared for as long as we can remember. While our journey to grow our family hasn’t been straightforward, our hearts remain open and hopeful. We would be honoured to welcome a child into our family and are committed to nurturing their sense of identity, security, and belonging — while respecting and supporting the important relationships in their life.
