Waiting Families
We’re Izzy and Mackenzie. Our story is one of fun, love, and a shared enthusiasm for the outdoors. We have built a life together filled with laughter, weekend ski trips, mountain biking excursions, and plenty of ice cream.
Mackenzie is an elementary school teacher and Izzy is a doctor. Together, we’ve built a cozy home on a quiet street with a large backyard perfect for summer barbecues, snow forts, and gardening in the summer. We’re surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends who bring warmth, support, and a healthy dose of silliness into our everyday lives.
Adoption has always been our dream for starting a family. We’re eager to welcome a child and birth family into our lives through an open adoption, ensuring the child feels connected to both worlds. From teaching them how to ski, reading bedtime stories, and a lifetime of adventures, we can’t wait to grow our family.
