Waiting Families
Hi there.
We are Clay and Cheyenne, along with our kiddos and our poodle, Loci!
We met as teenagers working at a kids summer bible camp, and soon after found ourselves as those cheesy high school sweethearts. Now here we are, 9 years later, still kinda cheesy…
Clay is pursuing psychology and Cheyenne works casually with teenagers at the local church, although she is at home with the kiddos most of the time.
We met working with kids, and it turns out we just love kids! For as long as we’ve been together we dreamed of adoption; really to have a big, diverse, fun, loving family.
We as parents value and prioritize family, friendships, our faith, fun, and a slow easy going life. We strongly believe in seeing everyone as the unique individual that they are, and strive for an environment where everyone feels heard, seen and loved unconditionally.
We spend a lot of time at parks, the pool, playing music, singing karaoke, hanging with friends, and making food (and of course eating food, we are major foodies). We also love playing hide and seek (and no, no one is ever too old for such a classic game).
Growing our family would be a dream come true. We as a whole family are excited at the possibility and praise God for this opportunity. We know in our hearts this is the next right step for us.
