Waiting Families
We’re Tess, Blair, and Clara, a close-knit, loving family. Tess and Blair have been best friends since their teenage years, married since 2006, and share a strong foundation of kindness, humour, and partnership. Tess is outgoing, creative, and loves learning new things, while Blair is thoughtful, steady, and deeply caring. Clara is curious, empathetic, and so excited to become a big sister. Together, we enjoy a full and active life filled with travel, outdoor adventures, board games, reading, crafting, and a shared love of science fiction.
Our family also includes Ryder, our sweet and energetic dog, who keeps us active and adds even more love (and fun!) to our home. We’re proudly geeky and love attending science fiction events, trying new hobbies, and finding joy in both big adventures and everyday moments.
We’ve always dreamed of growing our family, and after many years of infertility and loss, we are choosing adoption with hope and gratitude. We are committed to raising a child in a warm, supportive home where they feel safe, celebrated, and truly themselves. We value openness, honesty, and connection, and believe every child should grow up knowing their story and how deeply they are loved.
