Waiting Families
We are Kaela and Andrew, and we have been together since 2016. We live in comfortable townhouse in Calgary with our cats Nick and Delilah. Our home is calm, welcoming, and full of warmth.
Kaela is training to become a surgeon, and Andrew is a teacher. We both enjoy caring for others and supporting people as they learn and grow.
As a couple we value spending time together, trying new experiences, and learning more about ourselves and the world around us each day. In our free time we enjoy walking to our favorite coffee shop for a treat, hiking and camping, and travelling to new places. Andrew enjoys learning new languages and has been teaching himself Greek, while Kaela enjoys creative hobbies like embroidery and cooking new meals.
We look forward to expanding our family through adoption. We hope to give a child a loving, stable life filled with kindness and curiosity. We picture a home filled with conversation, shared meals, and laughter where a child feels safe to be themselves. We are thankful to have a close group of friends and family who are excited to support us and our growing family.
